Jessica Gallagher is a certified English teacher from the United States with over a decade of experience in English as a Second Language (ESL) education across K-12 and university levels. She earned her undergraduate degree in Adolescent English Education with a minor in Creative Writing from the State University of New York-New Paltz, where her involvement in various research projects ignited her passion for educational research. While teaching in New York City, she completed her master’s degree in Teaching English as a Second Language with a focus in Sociolinguistics from the City University of New York-Hunter College’s esteemed School of Education. During this time, she actively created programs and advocated for immigrant and minority students, empowering their voices within their communities. Since relocating to Peru in 2019, Jessica continues her dedication to teaching English and promoting its importance.

Sara is a National Geographic Learning Academic Consultant for Peru. Originally from the U.K., she graduated as a biologist from the University of Manchester before traveling to Peru to participate in ecological fieldwork and project coordination. After obtaining a TESOL certification, she has taught English in Peru for over 10 years in various institutions and universities, as well as specialized courses for English learners and teachers related to the Global Goals and STEAM Education. She has a passion for uniting education and sustainability and believes that through effective, integrated education in a globalized world, we can create impactful initiatives for a better future.

Carlos González Franco holds a degree in Information Technology and has over 20 years of experience teaching English as a foreign language. He has served in key academic leadership roles, including Academic Director, Academic Coordinator, Course Coordinator, and Coordinator of the ACCESS Scholarship Program at a renowned Binational Center in South America. In 2016, he was selected by the U.S. Department of State to participate in the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) titled “American Culture and TEFL Education,” where he explored the U.S. educational system as well as its culture in Seattle, Iowa, and Washington, D.C. In 2017, he was chosen by the U.S. Embassy as a mentor for the “Youth Ambassadors Program,” where he guided and served as interpreter for 20 talented students in Washington, D.C. and Tennessee. He was also sponsored to complete two major programs at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (Methodology for Teaching English as a Foreign Language, and Teaching English to Teenagers), and was part of a select group of instructors who participated in the Computer-Assisted Language Learning course called “CALL for Technology Leaders.” Carlos also worked as Academic Coordinator at Educational Services & Solutions, an institute located in California, USA, that provides vocational training for adults and people with special needs.
He currently lives in Lima and serves as the Director of the ESL program at a post-secondary education institute in Atlanta, Georgia, focused on teaching English to Latinos. He is also a contributor to the renowned publisher Oxford University Press.

Monica Fuhrken brings extensive and deep experience and knowledge to the teaching of English. She studied English Literature B.A. and a second B.A. in Integrated Education. She holds a master’s degree in Education from  (ITESM). She also holds the Proficiency of English Certificate from Cambridge University and the RSA Diploma for Overseas Teachers of English from Cambridge University.
She's taught English K-12 and University level, as well as Spanish. She's worked for HMH for 32 years in sales and as an Educational Consultant training teachers all over LATAM. Throughout her career, she's been a highly respected motivator and trainer to schools and teachers who teach mainly with HMH programs, enhancing their quality and benefits students acquire as they learn English and curriculum subjects.

Catherine Mendoza is a visionary leader in English Language Teaching (ELT) and assessment, with over 20 years of experience driving innovation in academic and administrative management. She has led nationwide educational initiatives, built strategic international alliances, and successfully managed Cambridge exam centers across Peru.

Currently serving as Key Account Manager for Cambridge University Press & Assessment in Peru and Bolivia, Catherine develops high-impact partnerships and strengthens educational programs across diverse large-scale institutions.

She holds multiple international certifications in English and is a Cambridge Certified Teacher Trainer. She is currently pursuing an MBA, further expanding her leadership and strategic capabilities to meet the evolving demands of the education sector.
