Beyond the classroom, he has extensive experience in curriculum development, content creation, and teacher training. He studied English Language Teaching in Brazil and has been actively engaged in professional development for nearly a decade.

Cecilia Castellano holds a degree in English Language Teaching from Universidad Nacional de Cuyo, Facultad de Filosofía y Letras, in Mendoza, Argentina. With over a decade of experience, she has taught English to a wide range of students, from pre-kindergarten to higher education levels. For nearly nine years, Cecilia has been a key member of Pearson’s Learning Services team, where she worked as a Learning Services Consultant and Key Account Executive for the Southern Cone region, including Argentina, Chile, Paraguay, and Uruguay. Recently, she joined the Sales Academic Consultancy team, where she supports institutions in achieving their academic goals through the integration of content, assessment, and certifications, all aligned with the Global Scale of English.

Gustavo González is a Teacher of English, international teacher educator, and presenter. He holds a postgraduate certificate in ELT, a diploma in Education and New Technologies, and a diploma in Neurosciences for Educators. He has presented in Argentina, across the Americas, and in Spain, Singapore, and China. Gustavo is a freelance presenter for Oxford University Press and a teacher trainer for the Oxford Teachers’ Academy. He is a former Vice President of FAAPI and currently serves as TESOL Spain Overseas Coordinator.

Magaly Calvo Vásquez
Magaly Calvo Vásquez holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and a Master’s Degree in Higher Education Didactics and English Didactics. She also completed a TEFL Certificate and earned the International Certificate of Competency in English (ECPE). With over 17 years of teaching experience at El Cultural and more than 7 years at private universities, she has built a solid career in English language education. Currently, she serves as an Academic Coach at El Cultural, supporting teachers in strengthening their instructional practices to enhance student learning.

KARIN VILLAMIL
Karin Villamil Somocurcio is currently an Academic Mentor-Coach at El Cultural, where she supports teachers in their professional development and encourages them to create effective, engaging, and meaningful learning experiences. She holds a degree in Education from San Marcos University and has more than 25 years of experience teaching English in a variety of educational contexts, including schools and universities. She has also taught at the postgraduate level at the National University of Trujillo and Universidad Pacífico. Her professional interests include communicative language teaching, intercultural awareness, meaningful learning, critical thinking, and teacher development. She believes that language learning should go beyond linguistic competence by creating opportunities for students to explore different perspectives while recognizing and valuing their own cultural identity. As an educator and mentor, she is passionate about supporting teachers in their professional growth and helping them create learning experiences that open students to the world and to new possibilities.
