AI isn’t going away, and students aren’t waiting for permission to use it. This has created frustration, inflated grades, and a sense that teachers are losing control. This workshop reframes the problem: rather than trying to stop AI use, it asks how teaching needs to change to remain effective. We look at real classroom behaviors, why “anti‑AI” tactics usually fail, and how to redesign tasks so AI becomes part of the learning process instead of a shortcut around it. The session is practical, honest, and focused on what teachers can do tomorrow—without assuming perfect compliance or unrealistic levels of monitoring.

English is increasingly moving beyond an academic requirement to become essential infrastructure for youth employability and regional economic growth. Yet, a persistent gap remains between traditional classroom instruction and the functional language skills demanded by today’s job market. Drawing on recent labor market data and English proficiency trends, this presentation examines how institutions can rethink English Language Teaching (ELT) to better prepare students for professional contexts and expand their access to employment opportunities in an increasingly globalized economy.

This workshop introduces participants to the foundations of Experiential Learning Theory developed by David A. Kolb, focusing on how individuals perceive, process, and transform learning experiences. Rather than treating learning as a one-size-fits-all process, the session presents a practical diagnostic quiz that helps learners identify their dominant approach across two dimensions: Grasping Experience and Transforming Experience. Through a simplified binary (Yes/No) instrument, participants map their preferences onto four learning styles—Accommodator, Diverger, Assimilator, and Converger—gaining insight into how they engage with theory, action, reflection, and application. The lecture explains the theoretical rationale behind the tool, demonstrates how to interpret results, and explores how learning style awareness can inform study strategies, instructional design, and technology integration. By the end of the session, attendees will identify their learning style and also define what AI tools would contribute more to their learning process in accordance with their Learning Style Quiz results.

As AI becomes increasingly present in education, the challenge is not whether to use it — but how to use it wisely. This session explores strategies for maintaining and assessing genuine student production while integrating AI into projects, presentations, podcasts, and collaborative tasks. Participants will examine ways to prevent overdependence, design process-based assessments, and ensure that technology enhances rather than replaces human interaction. Leave with practical methods to create immersive, future-ready learning experiences that combine innovation with meaningful connection.
